Themes, fonts, colors, and overlap layout

Set the overall look of your schedule with a theme and appearance settings, then fine-tune colors for individual events in the event editor.

At a glance

  • The Themes button opens the theme picker
  • Essentials themes are free; themes in every other category require Pro
  • Font, size, collision layout, and accent-bar settings are in Settings > Appearance
Choose a theme
Select Themes to open the theme picker, then choose the look you want for the schedule. Themes in the Essentials category are available to everyone. Themes in any other category require Pro.
Choose a font and font size
Open Settings > Appearance. Choose from the curated font list, then set the font size anywhere from 80% to 140%. Pick a size that keeps event titles, times, and details comfortable to read.
Set the event collision layout
In Settings > Appearance, choose how events that occur at the same time are displayed. Side-by-side gives each event its own portion of the available space; Overlap lets events share the same visual space.
Show or hide the event accent bar
Use the event accent-bar setting in Settings > Appearance to show or hide the colored bar on events. This changes only how events are displayed, not their times or other details.
Customize an individual event’s colors
Open the event editor to set colors for that event. Its individual color controls, including the separate advanced background and text colors, are in the event editor rather than the general Appearance settings.
