Getting started

Edit, move, resize, and duplicate events

Use the event editor for details and Grid view for fast visual changes. Small adjustments snap to 15-minute intervals, which keeps the schedule aligned.

Before you begin

  • Use Grid view for drag-to-move and drag-to-resize
  • Select an event to open its editor
  • Use Undo or Redo in the header if you need to reverse a recent change
  1. 1

    Edit an event

Select the event in Grid or List view. Change its title, description, emoji, days, time, all-day status, or colors, then save. An empty title is saved as Untitled event.

  2. 2

    Move it in the grid

Drag the event to a different time or visible day. Its duration stays the same, and its start time snaps in 15-minute increments. On touch screens, press and hold briefly before dragging so normal scrolling still works.

  3. 3

    Resize its duration

Drag the lower edge in the vertical grid or the right edge in the horizontal grid. Events cannot become shorter than 15 minutes. Keyboard users can move a focused event with the arrow keys and resize it with Ctrl/⌘ + Up or Down.

  4. 4

    Duplicate a finished event

Open the event and choose Duplicate. The copy keeps the original title, days, time, description, icon, colors, and all-day setting, with “(copy)” added to its title. Save any edits first: unsaved changes are not included in the copy.

  5. 5

    Understand linked days

One event can be assigned to several days. Editing or resizing that linked event normally affects every assigned day. In the editor, use the scope menu to save or delete only the day you selected; this separates that occurrence when needed.

Next steps

Use List view when you want a compact chronological check, or switch the grid orientation when a wide schedule is easier to read.
