Getting started

Grid, list, daily, weekly, and horizontal views

Choose a view that suits the task: a visual grid for arranging time, a list for scanning details, one day for focus, or a transposed layout for wider schedules.

View controls

  • Grid/List switches the presentation
  • Daily/Weekly controls how many selected days are shown
  • Vertical/Horizontal changes whether time runs down or across
Use Grid for planning
Grid view shows time and days as a calendar. It is the interactive view: click or drag empty slots to create events, drag events to move them, and drag a resize edge to change duration.
Use List for checking details
List view groups visible events by day and orders them by start time. Select an event to edit it, but create, move, resize, and range-select events in Grid view instead.
Choose Daily or Weekly
Weekly displays every visible day. Daily displays one selected day and lets you move through the configured visible days with the day navigation controls. This is useful when a full week is too dense.
Choose Vertical or Horizontal
Vertical is the default: days are columns and time runs downward. Horizontal transposes the grid: days are rows and time runs left to right. In Horizontal view, resize from an event’s right edge instead of its bottom edge.
Use the toolbar shortcuts
On desktop, use the toolbar controls or press G to switch Grid/List and A to switch Vertical/Horizontal. Daily/Weekly is available from the toolbar. On a narrow mobile screen, additional controls may be inside More.

Next steps

Adjust visible days, hours, and week-start preferences in Settings to make the selected view match how you plan.
