Work offline and resolve sync conflicts

Keep planning when your connection is unavailable. Signed-in changes are saved shortly after you finish editing, while offline or failed saves are protected in a local recovery cloud draft until they can be retried.

    Know where your schedule is saved

    Without an account, ScheduleBuilder saves your work only in the current browser profile on this device. It does not sync to another browser or device. Sign in before relying on the same schedule being available elsewhere.

    Wait for the signed-in save

    When you are signed in, ScheduleBuilder waits one second after your most recent edit before saving. This debounce groups a series of small changes instead of sending each one separately. The header shows Saving while the update is being handled and Saved when the cloud copy is current.

    Keep working while offline

    If the header shows Offline, your changes cannot reach the cloud right now, but you can continue editing. ScheduleBuilder creates a local recovery cloud draft on this device so the current work is retained and retries saving when the connection returns.

    Handle a failed save

    If the header shows Save failed, the changed schedule is also kept as a local recovery cloud draft. Check your connection and leave browser storage available. ScheduleBuilder retries after reconnecting, so wait for Saved before depending on the cloud copy.

    Resolve a sync conflict deliberately

    A conflict can occur when the cloud copy changed while you kept a local draft. Retrying replaces the cloud copy with your local version. Your local draft remains safe during that process, so review the choice and retry only when your local work should take precedence.
