Use ScheduleBuilder on mobile
On screens under 768px, ScheduleBuilder uses a full-bleed mobile layout with a floating hamburger button that opens a slide-out tools drawer.
What changes on mobile
- Below 768px, the interface is full bleed and no footer toolbar takes up schedule space
- The floating hamburger button opens a drawer with view, customization, sharing, and export controls
- Add is the first action in the tools drawer
- Dialogs open full screen, and dragging begins after a 180ms press and hold
Add an event
Tap the floating hamburger button, then choose Add at the top of the tools drawer to create an event.
Open the tools drawer
Tap the floating hamburger button to slide open the complete set of schedule, view, appearance, sharing, and export controls. Choose an action to return to the schedule.
Work in full-screen dialogs
On mobile, modal dialogs open full screen. Use the extra space to edit event details or settings, then close the dialog to return to the schedule.
Press and hold before dragging
To drag an event on a touch screen, press and hold it for 180ms before moving it. This short delay helps distinguish dragging from normal scrolling.
Understand the mobile schedule view
A vertical schedule shows one day at a time on mobile, even when Weekly is selected. A horizontal schedule can continue to show the week unless you explicitly choose Daily.
