Before you connect
Sign in with Pro, an eligible active trial, or administrator access, and open a schedule you own. Only its owner can manage sync; collaborators cannot, even with edit access.
Save this schedule to the cloud and resolve pending drafts first. Go online and wait for Saved before changing calendar sync.
Review any recovery draft and wait for cloud updates to finish loading. You can still inspect an existing connection’s status while changes are unavailable.
Connect one Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook calendar, or Apple iCloud calendar per schedule. Updates flow only into ScheduleBuilder; it never creates, edits, or deletes events in your original calendar.
Synced events are read-only here, including for collaborators: edit them in the original calendar. Your local events stay editable weekly routines. Private Notes and tasks are untouched.
Import one editable calendar week without ongoing updates instead
Connect and enable sync
Open Calendar. On mobile, use More tools → Calendar. On Android, choose Calendar → Connect a calendar. If desktop tools are under More, choose Calendar there (on Android, Connect a calendar).
For fresh setup, choose Google, Microsoft, or Apple to reveal the modes, then select Keep in sync below the providers. Import once defaults after provider selection on an unconnected schedule. Switching modes keeps your provider choice.
This example shows Google selected, then Keep in sync chosen for ongoing updates. Select Connect calendar and authorize read-only access with Google or Microsoft. For Apple, enter Apple Account email and an App-specific password from Apple Account security settings before connecting—never your regular Apple Account password.
Select one calendar with Choose a calendar and check Time zone. Wait for the connected schedule to finish loading.
Check the selected calendar and time zone before enabling sync. Select Enable sync to start sync. Choosing the mode or authorizing access alone does not enable it. Enabling requests the current week with dates shown.
Check the first update
Open … → Sync settings on the schedule entry (the schedule-title menu on Android), or Calendar for the active schedule (Calendar → Connect a calendar on Android). An existing connection opens in Keep in sync.
Last successful sync tells you when a calendar read last succeeded. Last snapshot week, when shown, identifies the saved snapshot week whose dates are displayed.
Requested week is the next read target, not proof it has synced. A waiting message means the requested week is not ready; the last successful snapshot keeps its original dates.
The normal Saved indicator confirms ScheduleBuilder cloud saving, not calendar sync success. If no successful update appears or the status needs attention, follow the troubleshooting guide below.
Disconnect a calendar
Open Sync settings, select Disconnect, then confirm Disconnect. Wait for the updated schedule to load. Owners can disconnect even after losing Pro, once the schedule is saved, online, and ready.
Disconnect stops future updates and deletes stored connection credentials. Your last successfully synced events become editable on their original snapshot dates, not a newer requested week. Local events, private Notes, and tasks remain.
