Finish saving if sync controls are unavailable
Go online, resolve pending or recovery drafts, and wait for Saved and any cloud loading to finish. Connection changes need a cloud-saved, ready schedule. Do not discard a recovery draft just to unlock a control.
Check that you own the schedule and have Pro, an eligible active trial, or administrator access. Collaborator edit access does not grant sync controls. Owners can inspect status and disconnect after downgrade, but other changes require eligible access.
Check status when updates have not arrived
Open … → Sync settings on the schedule entry (schedule-title menu on Android), or Calendar for the active schedule (Calendar → Connect a calendar on Android). Check Last successful sync, Last snapshot week, and Requested week, rather than the normal Saved indicator.
If no calendar has been enabled, finish Choose a calendar and select Enable sync. Provider authorization and Keep in sync alone do not start sync.
For an enabled connection, select Sync now to request the current or chosen week. Allow at least one minute between refreshes and wait for any refresh already running. Provider delays and retry backoff can add waiting time; repeated clicks cannot force an immediate update.
Disconnect to unlock Import once or change provider
Select Disconnect and confirm, then wait for the updated cloud schedule to load before selecting Import once or connecting a different provider. Change provider, when shown during calendar selection, opens disconnect confirmation; it does not silently replace the connection.
Import once stays disabled while a connection exists: before enabling, while paused, after an error, when reconnect is required, and after losing Pro. Pausing or reconnecting does not remove the connection.
Restore read access if the calendar is unavailable
For Sync needs attention or an empty calendar list, check that the calendar still exists, is available to the connected account, and allows you to read it. Use Retry when offered after restoring access; reconnect if authorization needs renewing.
A temporary calendar access error keeps encrypted credentials and the last successful events. An access-denied message does not by itself mean the account’s authorization has been revoked.
Reconnect when authorization has expired
When Reconnect required appears, select Reconnect and authorize again. For Apple, enter a valid app-specific password from Apple Account security settings, never your regular password.
Expired or revoked authorization, or an invalid Apple app-specific password, removes stored credentials and stops automatic retries. Saved events and their last successful dates remain.
Restore eligible access when sync is paused
Restore Pro, an eligible active trial, or administrator access. Background checks can resume sync if authorization is still valid; use Reconnect if asked. To stop the connection instead, disconnect after the schedule is saved and ready.
Sync paused means the owner no longer has eligible access. Losing Pro pauses calendar reads; it does not delete encrypted credentials or the last synced events. Those events remain read-only until disconnect.
Retry loading if the dialog cannot close after an action
If the request finished but the updated cloud schedule cannot load, select Retry. In this state it reloads the saved schedule; it does not repeat the completed connect, enable, refresh, or disconnect action.
Further changes, mode switching, and closing stay unavailable until loading succeeds. A completed disconnect does not unlock Import once until that updated schedule loads.
For a timeout, inspect connection status before retrying. If the dialog instead reports an expired account session and allows closing, close it and sign in again.
Compare the snapshot and requested week if dates look wrong
Compare Last snapshot week with Requested week in Sync settings. A waiting week does not move old appointments to new dates. Request the intended week in week settings, then wait for a successful update.
Check the stored Time zone for timed events. Saving a changed zone with Save sync settings requests the current week again; choose another week afterward if needed. All-day events keep their original calendar dates.
Use a smaller week or calendar if sync exceeds limits
Try a week with fewer events, remove unneeded local events after backing up important work, or disconnect and connect a smaller calendar. Descriptions cannot be turned off to bypass the limit.
A schedule holds at most 250 events including local events and daily segments of multi-day calendar events. Large weeks or lengthy descriptions can also exceed size limits. A failed or incomplete read keeps the last successful snapshot.
Contact support if the problem continues
Include the provider, visible status, last-success time, and whether the requested week differs from the snapshot week. Do not send passwords, authorization codes, tokens, or private calendar content. Check a screenshot for sensitive details before sharing it.
